Skin Thumble™ Thumb Face Gripper (The Gripper™) – One size fits all.
Your thumb is surrounded by soft supple deerskin. This patented product provides instant thumb gripping. Soft rubber is sewn to the outsides of the thumble. This soft rubber provides a gripping action that occurs when your thumb is damp. The skin of your hand and thumb secretes a sticky chemical called sebum. Sebum is allows your thumb to grip things. Sebum is removed during repetitive movements against dry materials such as paper and cloth. That’s why people rely on a damp cloth or some type of stick enhancing material when they rub their thumb against paper (reading a book, counting money, separating paper, etc&) or plastic sheets. These messy items are a thing of the past. The Thumb Face Gripper™ slips onto your thumb and is held in place it’s patented ‘no slip’ design. This product is ideal for the following tasks:
Counting money or moving paper
Reading a book
Gripping needles when sewing
Gripping cloth when stippling
